Help us head off our world’s gravest ecological tragedy!

 One of the main goals of Creatures Great & Small is to educate the public about our environment, the rain forest and how we can and MUST make a change in our world. You see, the extent of destruction wrought by the burning and bulldozing of rain forest has reached such proportions that it now threatens worldwide consequences! 

What does that mean to you, me, our kids, and our entire planet?

 Even though the rain forests occupy only 2% of our earths surface they support well over half of its wild plants, trees, animal and insect life- including vegetation that provide a quarter of today’s drugs and medicines. Treatments for everything from heart disease to leukemia and 99% of rain forests vegetation has yet to be evaluated for its medical value! 

Our rain forests exert a powerful control over world climate, as well, with  influence on temperature, wind, and humidity, not to mention our own rainfall. Yet over 4,000 acres of this irreplaceable forest is being burned off each hour! That sounds unbelievable but, that creeping inferno not only threatens everything from agriculture to drinking water, but also is a major contributor to the “Greenhouse Effect” now predicted by so many scientist. 

 Creatures Great & Small is trying to do our part to raise awareness on this tragedy and are proud to announce our brand new, educational Mobile Unit called “The Rain Forest Adventure”.
